The Tiny Brown Ant is an uncommon pest control problem in Auckland. Noticably small (less than 2mm) compared to
other species, the Tiny Brown Ant typically has a nest outside, but can also live inside buildings, too. The Tiny Brown Ant
is not agressive and does not bite or sting. Commonly they trail into the kitchen for sugar and other foods. The are persistant
and numerous making for an annoying pest. There can be a trail of ants to windows sills where they feed on dead insects.
